The event moved to a new, much larger venue called the Dubai Exhibition Centre in early 2026.
Dubai is building more event space to grow its events industry and attract more businesses and event organisers to its hub. When it is fully complete, the new venue will increase the city’s event space by more than 50%.
With more space, we were able to grow WHX Dubai. We added new areas and experiences. We gave companies more space to exhibit and meet their customers.
We were able to welcome more visitors. This made the event more valuable for the global healthcare community.
As venues get bigger, and as we work with cities around the world, we can continue to grow our largest events.

At WHX Dubai, our flagship event, space matters.
In 2026, WHX Dubai was one of the first events to move to the new, larger state-of-the-art Dubai Exhibition Centre.
The new venue reflects the significant investment Dubai is making into the meetings, incentives, conferences and events sector – sometimes known as MICE – as a way of supporting its economic growth and development goals. When fully open, Dubai Exhibition Centre will increase the city’s event capacity by over 50%.
With more high-quality space available, our team was able to introduce new features, zones and experiences at the event, offer customers more options with stands, branding and sponsorship and meeting space, and better meet the growing demand to be part of WHX by opening up to more businesses and professionals, including new types of customers.
All in all, it delivered more benefits and value to more of the international healthcare community.
When our venues expand, and when we partner with host cities and take a creative approach to using space outside of formal venues, we can keep growing already-leading and major events.

Dubai is making substantial investments into the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events sector, also known as MICE, as a part of the city’s broader economic growth and development strategy. Once fully operational, the Dubai Exhibition Centre will increase the city’s event capacity by over 50%, strengthening Dubai’s position and attractiveness as a hub for large-scale events on an international basis.
Working from an expanded venue allowed WHX Dubai to introduce new features, zones and experiences, and make more exhibition and sponsorship space available to current and new customers.
The team was able to offer a greater range of customised options for customers and hold WHX Labs Dubai concurrently with WHX Dubai, expanding our overall audience and increasing convenience for some of our audience.
The expansion of venue space – as well as taking a creative approach to using space within cities that lies outside of formal venues – is one of the ways we are able to drive further growth and keep increasing customer value, even when it comes to brands and events that are already large and established.
Global venue space has grown by nearly 30% over the last eight years, and there are several examples of cities that are major hubs for businesses that are building expanded venues, to come onstream in the next five years.
This is one factor supporting our ambition to deliver underlying revenue growth of 6%+ in our B2B Live Events business over the coming years.
