AI is an important part of Informa today.
We use it to build products more quickly, create new services that were not possible before, and help our teams work more effectively.
We have created our own AI system called Elysia. You can see it on this site as an assistant.
Thousands of our colleagues use Elysia every day to solve problems and work faster.
AI also helps us to use the information we collect from our customers in new ways. This allows us to build new products and understand our audiences more clearly.
We are adding AI-focused tools to many of our brands.
For example, LIONS Intelligence helps marketing teams search through an extensive library of campaigns, ideas and research from around the world.
In Foodservice, Technomic uses AI to help customers search through reports, find key information quickly and understand data more easily.
Across the company, we are continuing to use AI to improve how we work and what we offer to customers.
AI is an important part of what we offer, how effectively we develop products and services, how we go to market, how we operate our business, and how we think about growth opportunities.
We’ve built a proprietary AI capability, called Elysia, which you’ll also see in the form of an assistant on this site. It’s being used by thousands of colleagues every day to re-engineer our workflows, innovate and solve problems.
It’s also unlocking new value from our first-party customer data, including new products based on analysing and interpreting large volumes of audience data.
Across our specialist intelligence brands, we are embedding AI directly into the tools customers use. That includes LIONS Intelligence in Marketing, which helps customers research ideas, explore benchmarks and access insights from across WARC, Contagious and The Work, including a library of more than 250,000 award-winning case studies.
It also includes Technomic’s Ignite platform in Foodservice, whose AI capability allows subscribers to search across large research datasets, generate summaries and visualise insights more quickly.
All across Informa, we are embracing the opportunities that the latest AI developments and applications offer.
AI is increasingly underpinning growth opportunities at Informa: in product development, operational efficiency and customer and audience engagement.
We are re-engineering how we work in all areas of the business, building AI into our workflows and platforms, using AI capabilities to develop new products and release features and services to customers more quickly, and experimenting with other applications as they emerge.
We have invested in creating a proprietary AI platform, Elysia.
Elysia draws on a selection of leading AI models. Its power is in its combination with our unique data sets – including the first-party B2B customer data held in our IIRIS platform – and our specialist content.
As a proprietary capability, our teams are developing it with a focus on use cases that unlock the most value for us. And as a private platform, it helps guard against company-confidential information from entering third-party tools too.
There are many examples from our intelligence brands of where AI lies behind an entirely new or much improved customer product or tool.
In Marketing, LIONS Intelligence is a new agentic workflow tool launched in 2025. It draws on content from across our WARC, Contagious and The Work brands, including our archive of over 250,000 award winning case studies, enabling customers to conduct deep research that informs and can be applied directly to strategy and planning.
In Foodservice, Technomic’s Ignite tool similarly allows subscribers to search extensive research datasets, generate summaries and visualise insights more efficiently, delivering greater value from our content and their subscriptions.
